Family Birthday Blast

Lately we have had many birthdays to celebrate with family and friends. Maya (our niece) turned one. Celestial went all out with an autumn themed party and a slideshow. Dennen had a birthday and my parents came up to Logan. We went out to El Torro and Dennen wore the birthday sombrero with pride. 

Jesse (Josh's brother) also had a birthday to celebrate we had a doughnut morning. 

My mom took the girls shopping and she got me a real cute sweater. 

Update with Bubba. Lately he has been enjoying soaking up the sun by Josh's work shed.

This semester of School is winding down. I have a big project I need to start...it should be fun. Josh has already registered for spring semester and is set to graduate.

We just found out my sister, Hilary is going to be having a Baby. Which is super exciting I'm already looking up wooden toys to get her. She's going to make such a cute pregnant lady! It will be great to add some young blood and entertainment to the family. As Josh would say, "Way to go Dennen, he's a stud!"

Halloween was a thrill. We ATE. ATE. ATE and played Apples to Apples, a highly recommended game by us :) Well until next time.

Pit Bull Attack in Utah

Ah! It breaks my heart once again to read the comments posted after such an event. People sure say nasty things and both ways too. I choose not to list statistics here but encourage people to use caution when dealing with breed specific legislation.

Kids are curious, dogs bite, and people argue.....what's new? equality for dog breeds....

Oh and to add a personal touch on top of it all. My neighbor, Melanie, came over the other day to let us know some boy has been coming over and feeding Bubba apples through his fence. We haven't caught him yet to give him a little talking to but he better not get any wise ideas and let Bubba out. Guess locks are going on the kennel. SO stupid! Urgh! the whole thing is upsetting.

MultiUse Room

The yellow room, my never ending decorative challenge, hopefully it's come to an end. So once again this weekend we tackled the project of the yellow room. We have a small house and this is our guest room/ storage room/ workout room/ craft room. I refuse to let it turn into a 'junk room' so organization is key. This weekend Josh helped me once again try to make the room look decent. Hanging shelves was the project. Josh rolls his eyes and takes it in good humor as he helps me move furniture.

He Pushed on the "Pull-Em"

This story, Pontoffel Pock, is great! So, I had completely forgot about this short video of Dr. Seuss's but, when I was at work the pickle factory song popped into my head. I thought it would be fun to post it...so here it is. It's not a very good copy but it's all I could find online. At the cheese factory we even wear white outfits and blue gloves "a nice happy job" (: Don't worry though I don't think the cheese factory is going to have any catastrophe because of my job performance (: ta-ta---ta-ta-ta-taaa
